Provocation
In disguise, I will bluff
Yet when the time is right
Your eyes will be shocked
For what they will see
Will be the opposite
Of what they expected from me
Provocation, this damn irritation
Is the sap of what brings admiration
It is creation without deception
The art of a personal revolution
Provocation
Your usual boredom becomes extinct
Welcome interest into your life
Your stunning act will bring them all
Running to see your demonstration, aghast
To picture what they thought impossible
Yet don’t be fooled by the after-effects
Don’t dive in if you’ll want to swim out
Provocation, this damn irritation
Is the sap of what brings admiration
It is creation without deception
The art of a personal revolution
Provocation
Really it’s the feeling of liberation
After locking up a claustrophobe
In the shadows of his frights
Looking past danger’s face
Mocking his juvenile traits
Insulting his long held title
Declare victory upon his army
Provocation, this damn irritation
Is the sap of what brings admiration
It is creation without deception
The art of a personal revolution
Provocation
