"The trick to flying is to throw yourself at the ground and miss!"
"If you can believe it, you can achieve it."
"Do you believe in forever?"

I will not be crushed
under the weight of the world.
I will not be forsaken
to the mercy of fate and destiny.
That, you see, is my destiny.
Atlas in his hubric strength
lifts the sky on his shoulders;
I will not be so foolish to put me
before any other.

I'll hold up these walls
of the crashing world.
I won't let them fall on me.
I won't be crushed by the weight
of the world on me;
I will survive.
I will survive.

Atlas keeps the sky from
falling down on us all;
after all, there's got to be a sacrifice;
I'll be the sacrifice to the world
to save us all.
Let it not be said
Hubris killed us all, no, indeed,
It saved us instead.

I'll hold up these walls
of the breaking world.
I won't let them crash on me.
I won't be crushed by the weight
of the world on me;
I will survive.
I won't be crushed;
Won't help them break me down.
This is my destiny
I go willingly.

Love the allusions to Mythology, the integration of Atlas made a lot of sense with this and was a nice touch.

"I'm in love with you, and I know that love is just a shout into a void, and that oblivion is inevitable... and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we'll ever have, and I am in love with you." Augustus Waters

I like your reference to greek mythology and i like the whole idea. the weight of the world is crushing me. that is MY destiny.
