Angels touch around us
whisper in the silence
you'll be dead soon
but we take no heed
We've got all we need
here beside us
living in this carousel
and looking to the sky
where we know paradise
all around us
Nothing is in our way
we can claim today
and the next
and each one after that
Because we know what we want and we can get it
Just gotta go for it, you say,
I'll lead the way,
and you do
I follow down those hallways
full of angels that whisper
You'll be dead soon
But I don't listen
following your footsteps
that get harder and harder to hear
as you get farther and farther away
and there is no today
and no tomorrow
I'm drowning in this sorrow
I can't breathe
and this is what dying is
being without you
and realizing my dreams
never meant a thing
when I can't reach them
and you're not here to say
It will be ok
it will never be ok
It will never be ok.

The author's comments:
I feel like I get my inspirations from music when I tune out the words and just concentrate on the music. This one I wrote when I was listening to Ludo's horror of our love.
