Grown Up
He says he's someone but he isn’t nothing'
He say he will shoot and he isn’t bluffing
We don't want him 'till he's real
Tell you what..., I’ll make a deal
Never want something you can’t have
Money, cars, clothes, cash
Just remember that days will pass
Stay in school, go to class
Grass is green, the sky is blue
Makes sense to me how 'bout you
He’s growing up becoming mature
Days pass but to be sure
Don’t win the race make sure you’re not last
Think in present, forget the past
Days, weeks, months, years
He’s grown up now forget the tears
Have fun in life Forget about fears
He may not be just how he appears
He sure is nice, a real good guy, I guess this is my turn to say good bye.
