Safety Of our lives
VERSE ONE: I’m only one girl to make a difference
A difference may only be one thing
But that thing could change the world in just minutes
And to people, the world may only be a name

I look out at all the safety our earth has to offer
And the call of the wilderness is so still
Yet quiet to the point you have to listen
Listen quietly to the words that are spoken still

CHORUS: I call out to the lord when I need help
Sometime steps I take are a question hard to tell
I hope one day my thoughts are spoken out
Spoken out to the chance, the change everyone talks about

VERSE TWO: So I hold my head up high
I always reach for the bright blue skies
I close my hands so chances don’t fall through
And I close my eyes and give thanks
That I’m still safe here with you

Some people don’t stop to think very often
On how a lot of people sacrificed their lives
To keep out country safe and well handed
And to keep that flag flowing with nothing but pride

It only takes a little of your time
To put some effort into hope and prayers of minds
Some don’t understand or even realize things about their lives
Someone out there gave up theirs for outs in only a matter of time
 Only a matter of time

CHORUS: I call out to the lord when I need help
Sometime steps I take are a question hard to tell
I hope one day my thoughts are spoken out
Spoken out to the chance, the change everyone talks about

VERSE FOUR: Oh how I wish
Wish on the starts that shine
That we stop to pray for those who have died
 Not only for our country
But for the safety of our lives
