Cure For The Darkness
Everytime I hit the brakes.
After every speedbump I hit.
Every nightlight kept on,
By each flash of lightning we see.
Every transaction we make.
By every wanting we have.
Every feeling that I get.
But I don't miss you yet.
Even when I stop to think about what you've done.
When the day turns to night is when the devils come out to play, feeding off each one they trick. Passing off the infection one by one is when we realize there is no cure.
Everytime I sit down to write.
After every pen stroke I take.
Every trash can overflowing,
By all the scrapped dreams we make.
Every heart we break.
By every new person we meet.
Every feeling I get.
But I still don't miss you yet.
Even when I continue to think about it.
When the day turns to night is when the devils come out to play, feeding off each one they trick. Passing off the infection one by one is when we realize there is no cure.
Only when I start to think about it I know that in the morning they're be gone. Only to come back when the suns sets.
(Do you know)
Cause when the day turns to night is when the devils come out to play, feeding off each one they trick. Passing off the infection one by one is when we realize there is no cure.
