I’m an American, you’re an American
and there’s something about you and me that are the same.
Were both chasing after a dream
and that dream is the American dream.
We both want ten cars, big houses,
enough money you can fill up your pockets.
And the last but defiantly not the least,
A wife that loves you and children that look up to you.
To you and me another thing
about the American dream is to be free.
Now for you and me our dream
is to achieve the American dream.
