You came into my life
You came into my life
And swept me off my feet
Then dropped me on the ground
And left me there broken and shattered
Into so many pieces
That no one could fix me
They tried but there was always a missing part of me
You dropped me with out warning
One minute we were fine
Then the next you were gone
And I fell hard on the ground
Reality rushing towards me fast
At the fact that you were gone
I didn’t even know why
You came into my life
And swept me off my feet
Then dropped me on the ground
And left me there broken and shattered
Into so many pieces
That no one could fix me
They tried but there was always a missing part of me
I tried to ask, tried to talk to you
First you ignored me, trying to take the easy way out
Then you promised we would talk about it
But it’s been weeks since that conversation
And every night I got to bed disappointed
Confused on what happened
Lost on how I feel
Sad that it’s over
You came into my life
And swept me off my feet
Then dropped me on the ground
And left me there broken and shattered
Into so many pieces
That no one could fix me
They tried but there was always a missing part of me
A part that will always belong to you
