Your Hand in My Hand
When I look at you
I see the face of an angel,
that's how I want it to be.
Behind those beautiful hazel eyes
I see someone,
someone who could mean everything to me.
Let’s escape this world,
leave reality,
go to a hidden place just for you and me.
It’s getting harder day by day,
but I can’t let you go.
Let me tell you something honestly,
That this love is worth fighting, worth sacrificing, it could be all love’s made out to be.
Still I see it in your eyes
that you’re ready to let go,
but please give me one more chance,
hold my hand.
Don’t let me think that I finally had you,
just to lose you again.
Because here in the end,
I want to be standing at the beginning,
with your hand in my hand.
