Unglued
It’s been so long, I’ve lost track of the days
Time keeps passing but I can’t fill this empty space
They say that life goes on, but I’m stuck in one place
 I need to get away

The hours turn to years, but they’re all the same
Alone and crying, calling out your name
Screaming out this desperation you can’t hear
 I live in fear

 Please, won’t you remember me?
Even when you’re dead and gone
And I’m too weak to carry on
Please, don’t ever let me be
I need your hand to help me through
 Please help me come unglued

I always tell myself you’re just a prayer away
But I still miss you even more each coming day
I always tell myself you’re always at my side
 But I know it’s a lie

Your memory used to get me through the days
And now this thought of you, I just can’t shake
No matter how many times I bow my head to pray
 You keep drifting away

 Please, won’t you remember me?
Even when you’re dead and gone
And I’m too weak to carry on
Please, don’t ever let me be
I need your hand to help me through
 Please help me come unglued

I’m always stuck in one place
 Dreaming about you
 Please, help me come unglued
