Well since you're rich and famous now.....
Maybe
You'll remember me
When you're cruising on that expensive yot
while whatever could be left of you slowly rots
Maybe
You'll remember me
When you get caught in the poparazzi
and the flashes blind you, you can't see
I know you probably think I'm hoping for
That stupid boat to sink or
Maybe you'll get lost in the seven seas
But instead, just be careful please
So you can still remember me
Maybe
You'll remember me
When you're riding first class, feeling fine
and the only thing you gotta do is smile
Maybe
You'll remember me
When you sing to the crowd
as they call your name out loud
I know you probably think I'm hoping for
That stupid plane to crash or
you'll just never come back down
But actually I hope you won't skip this town
Because I want you to just remember me
Maybe
You'll remember me
When you choke on stage in front of all those people
and you didn't last long enough to close the deal
Hopefully
You'll remember me
And just come running back in my arms
when you figure out it's too late for that life and just settle down to watch the stars
