Get up when you fall
Gotta keep on fighting
Oh baby isn't this exciting
We're on the tip top of this world
And we're never coming

Never coming down

Open your eyes
Look at this - the surprise
This is our canvas

Hello readers, fellow writers, and singers whom I hope will come to enjoy and follow my writings. So, this is the first song I'm putting up on Teen Ink, I hope you like it. It could be seen as a poem, but I hear music when I read it, so song lyrics it is. Basically, although it could have a few symbolic meanings, I imagine this song as kids, teenagers, like you and me perhaps, growing up and taking the world as ours. After all, at some point in time, in some way, each generation takes over from the last one. And our time is coming. Soon, this will be our world. It's a beautiful thing. So. Let's try to fix it please?
