Windowless Room
My heart once lied
In a windowless room.
Ridden of light
It lived in the gloom.
My heart wasn’t open.
Love was just a word
Strewn through all of the
Cheesy love songs I heard.
One day you came along.
You held the key.
You opened my eyes
And suddenly I was free.
Now I’m in your arms
Delighted by your kiss.
You’re all that I need.
Your love filled my empty abyss.
My heart once lied
In a windowless room.
You came and saved me.
We have left the gloom.
