I'll Always Remember
We met when we were six,
 not too sure how.
 Maybe on the playground,
 sitting around.

 We were both on vacation,
 that's no doubt
I was the one you always
 fought about.

From dinner, to ice cream, to
 jumping on beds, screaming
 at your sister, 'she's my
 friend!' I always remember
 the things you'll forget, like
 your arm around me wait
 and mine by your head.

It was about three years till I
 saw you again. We didn't
 really talk, but I'll never
 forget, the year after that
 when we met again.
 you gave me a prize
 you won just for me.

 from dinner to ice cream,
 to staying up late. whispers
 from sister claiming your faith.
I'll always remember the things you'll
forget, like your arms around my waist
 and mine by your head.

years went by, and I saw you every time,
getting closer and closer as time passed by.
we got in trouble, we ran around.
we fought in the pool, splashing around

from dinner, to ice cream to playing around,
your sister was confused and said, 'put her down.'
I'll always remember the things you'll
forget, like your hands on my legs,
 my arms by your head.

One yea I saw you, and that's when we
kissed. After three days of fighting, it came
down to this. nothing got awkward,
but it was still there. I wonder where
 I'd be without that dare.
