Deep Freeze
When you think about it does it damage you?
Do you hope the rain will wash it all away
You wear your shame just like a broken cross
Both with false intentions of salvation
So you wear the mask of genocide
A single blow to end your life of emotional……suicide!!!!!
(Chorus)
Send me under fire, I’ll survive the heat
I may have blood on my lips
But I have not yet tasted defeat
Cast a glow upon my face and you will find
I was better off alone anyway
So take my heart into deep freeze
I’ll shrug off your glaring chill and face a new sun…another day
I unwrapped you like my favorite Christmas present
Expecting a smile to arise upon my face
But I voiced my displeasure when I saw emptiness inside
I measured what vanished without some kind of trace
You bury your hatred like a body in the grave
But I start to kill you off inside the more I age
(Chorus)
Send me under fire, I’ll survive the heat
I may have blood on my lips
But I have not yet tasted defeat
Cast a glow upon my face and you will find
I was better off alone anyway
So take my heart into deep freeze
I’ll shrug off your glaring chill and face a new sun…another day
