Good-Byes
Just when I thought I lost you,
I got that little phone call.
So I acted through my tears,
As my heart began to fall.
Every night before bed,
When I lie down to rest my head.
I vision the accident,
From that tragic day.
And that feeling can never go away.
I can’t wait to see you,
Wanna see if you’re okay.
I keep thinking over and over,
That your gonna leave.
Before we say our good-byes.
Once you were home it just couldn't be better.
With being spun out on the streets,
That some call home.
Glass shattering in your face,
And spun out on those dreaded streets,
It seemed like I would never see you again.
But the scars upon you face lead me to the front hallway,
Which I paced.
I can’t wait to see you,
Wanna see if you’re okay.
I keep thinking over and over,
That your gonna leave.
Before we say our good-byes.
