Everyone is a genious, but if you jugde a fish on its ability to climb trees, it will live its whole life thinking it&#039;s stupid<br /> ~Albert Einstein

Verse 1: Don’t sit there and tell me that I haven’t tried
You have no idea what’s been going through my mind
It’s not easy trying to make everyone happy by sacrificing your life
So don’t sit there and tell me I haven’t tried

Chorus: Love is just a word; I’m not missing out on much
Societies are just people, who won’t ever judge
Rules are just guidelines; it’s up to me how I live my life
And I’m just a girl, who should be seen but never heard
But then how will I ever deliver my message to the world?

Verse 2: Don’t watch me like that with accusing eyes
You don’t know the pain I felt when I told you those lies
Trust me you don’t want to find out more about me
The truth is too ugly for your pretty eyes to see

Chorus: Love is just a word; I’m not missing out on much
Societies are just people, who won’t ever judge
Rules are just guidelines; it’s up to me how I live my life
And I’m just a girl, who should be seen but never heard
But then how will I ever deliver my message to the world?

Verse 3: Sorry but your psychic abilities took me by surprise,
So tell me again how you know me with just one sight
I’d love to have that power, maybe freak out some kids
But I’m not too keen on that hobby of yours, prejudice

Last Chorus: Love is a feeling I will discover soon
Societies are haters, who will always be cruel
Rules are rules that I’ve decided to break
And I’m a girl who will die for freedom’s sake
Be you and take no notice of the influences around
And that’s my message to the world that I’m trying to get out.

This one is about being misjuged, misheard and misunderstood. It has an element of sarcasm to it too, hope you enjoy
