Tears
Wet and damp they fill me up
With sorrow, grief, and pain
Cold and hard they hit the floor
Like a silent, falling rain
Home to all my feelings
I lock up deep inside
Home to all my hurt
I always try to hide
But these drops of liquid soul
Mustn’t always be so sad
For they also come in times of joy
And aren’t always quite so bad
So remember in your heart
Next time they want to fall
That tears aren’t one emotion
But rather display them all
