Unknowns (unfinished)
Running through darkness
I want to break out.
I call your name, and I
scream, and I shout.
I need to see you.
I want you near.
I will hold on
until you disappear.
Tripping and sliding
and falling down,
I reach for your hand, but
you're not around.
Bruises and scratches,
I tend to my wounds.
I carry on
I run through the tombs
of the unknowns.
