Twin Sized Bed
Break the things you can leave behind
Go along if you can do it blind
Face the things you can victimize
Do it quickly with an occupied mind
When you see her start to fall apart
Aim for her newly healed scars
And when you see it getting darker out
Close your ears as she starts to shout
Walls are closing in
Light runs away from day
And as she shakes in her twin sized bed
Whisper lies in her head
Leave it all for her while she cries
Do what you must to keep her out
Let her ache when it’s not her fault
Let her scream into the dark
While you lie with your vessels popped
Let her see what you show off
Let them hit her when you fire shots
Let her heart break as you hit
And she runs you simply sit
Walls are closing in
Light runs away from day
And as she shakes in her twin sized bed
Whisper lies in her head
Leave it all until you change your mind
