Snakepit Carnival
Twitching,
They're twitching,
They're tapping their jars.
Like an'mals,
They're squirming,
Hold 'em tight in your arms.
Brewing,
They're brewing,
They breaking away.
From this life,
They're fleeing,
In somber disarray.
Crying,
They're crying,
They're shrieking in pain.
All broken,
They're shaking,
Short soiled in shame.
Snapping,
They're snapping,
They're leaving encased.
Becoming one with the ground,
And the gods of this place.
Reaping,
They're reaping,
They're calling my name.
In echoes,
They're singing,
The souls to reclaim.
Dreaming,
They're dreaming,
Of their yonder days.
They're sleeping,
Eyes closed,
As they're drifting away.
