Growing Up
Why have all the days vanished
Where did all the time go
From drawing on the walls we have been banished
When we were kids time was slow
Things are starting to get old
When we find out the fairy tales were all a lie
The precious things we used to hold
The upsetting news makes you want to cry

We no longer believe in a talking bunny
It's the time we learn about the problems around us
The small jokes are no longer funny
The time we learn to no longer fuss
Over the little things we can't control
The time we learn to brush our own hair
When our Mothers start to on longer patrol
Toys we used to play with are no longer there

 We gain more responsibility
We lose our time to play
We learn how to use hospitality
We start to remember less of the day
 The people get more rude
 You develop a new feeling
 The judgments get more crude
Staying awake at night staring at your ceiling

 Your self-esteem starts to lower
 Your point of view changes
 Your mood gets slower
 Your attitude gets more ranges
 Boys no longer have cooties
 Your music reflects your depression
You start to see less beauties
 Your writing reflects your expression
