Light At the End of the Tunnel
Have you ever heard the wind blow softly?
Have you ever heard someone cry alone?
Have you ever witnessed
A random act of kindness?
And thought to yourself
I am loved?
(chorus)
You're imagining the darkness
Trapping yourself for no reason
Because you haven't yet
Accepted reality
But thats okay
Because someday
You'll find the light at the end of the tunnel
And decide to stay
Go sit in a coffee shop
And look all around
People are smiling
Some are lost
Some are found
Strangers on a rock
All living in shock
That they are still breathing
That they are still living
(chorus)
I may not have money
I may not have courage
But I know how to speak my mind
Through my hands
My fingers can't move fast enough
The ink spreads across the clean paper
I don't really know what I am doing
(chorus)
But I am our of the darkness
No longer trapped
My reality, I had to accept
And I'm finally okay
Maybe I've found my way
I've reached the light at the end of the tunnel
And I have decided to stay
