The Gray Reality
(Verse 1)
I watched you stumble- before my eyes
And it made my heart crumble- but it’s not mine
I’m caught in between and I don’t know how things seem
The world has gone strange- but is it real?
And I’m going deranged- what do I feel?
It’s something I don’t believe but I believe it more than anything

 (Chorus)
All ‘cause the gray came in and caused all this insanity
Wiping all the other colors out
 Trading dreams for doubt
What did I do to make you hate me?
But if neither you nor I are to blame
Then what is the culprit’s name?

 (Verse 2)
It was a shot into the darkness- once again
And you’re my only witness- but not a friend
I don’t want to feel your touch I just want to feel the warmth of the sun

 (Chorus)

 (Bridge)
These are reasons why I want to be a child again
These are reasons why some relationships just have to end
These are questions if I’m ready to let go of the past
These are questions if I’m giving up too fast

 (Chorus)

 (End chorus)
Then through all the fog there was something to behold
 The celestial arch shone bright
 Bringing in the light
Only then did I realize I had grown cold
Now I’m searching for the sun
But at least I know there’s one
