The Girl That Filled My Dark
There was something I couldn’t forget.
Was it the way she smiled?
Was it the way she laughed?
The blood on my hands is something I cannot forget.
It really was like playing Russian roulette.
It was always a gamble.
Will I push her away?
Crash my car through your window.
I met her.
I saw her really.
She is as beautiful as the last.
Their faces are something I can’t forget.
I cannot feel what you’ve done to me.
Because if I do.
I’d be lost.
I’d be in pain.
In love.
They scare me.
She’s scared me.
Take this down a notch.
I have to take this down a notch.
If I move too fast I will lose her.
She wants us to take our time.
I don’t want to lose her.
My heart’s on auction it goes to the highest bid.
They were the highest bidders.
Although it was cheap.
The first buyer broke me.
Used me.
Dragged me around.
But the new owner.
She’s lovely.
The new buyer is who.
Who I love.
The girl that filled my dark.
