Starlight Dancer
If perfection is the dream in which we strive
Calamity is synonymous with in that we thrive
Once I know perfections sweet splendid little kiss
It was a euphoric kind of trip such as sweet suspended bliss
A dancer crossed my pathway in her own a dreamer too
My resolve for freedom I am revolutions starlight poster child true
She was to be my allure that rose me to heights previously unfathomed
Every kiss felt otherworldly like a plane of existence alien in comparison, rather
I fell so hard for her perfection, a synastry to compliment the artist in my soul
With her flame I burned with tortured passion, without out I would die so cold
Ecstasy did not better me, it rendered me a feeling of hopeless obsolete
Nothing I could to could save us from a fate we both would meet
Have you ever clung onto a sword to watch it impale through your chest
But for your amour you would drive it in deeper without a second guess
Seduction played it's role in dismantling a young man of his visioned dreams
For all dreamers that skip from star to falling star disappear from our native scene
A wound is minimizing such truth, for the pain of loss was something quite severe
Tattooed on our sleeves was undying love, but in our minds was gaps of fear
I was a warrior to ride into battle through hails of fire and of hail
So painful a lesson it was, too used to success I was
But alien to the concept of loss and fail
Destiny invested to me the best of mastery for me to conquer and redeem
But without my dancer impossible all my aspirations too far gone it would seem
For me you would have never, ever fought for a dying love we knew
But in the end you tried your best, I was just too stubborn to let go
Dancers and dreamers exist in the skies and never here on earth
You taught me so much about losing someone you love and a different kind of sacrifice
I'll never give up the fight when the Sun bestoweth me with strength, the moon with your radiant glow
My quest for knowledge, freedom and love everlasting....but I must journey without you now
Of this painful truth.........I finally know
