La lumière
Watched the day walk by
Not a sin in sight
Till you came into the light
You hands as bare as mine
Your eyes are bloodshot wide
Where have you been all night
There's a monster underneath my bed
He's laughing at my heart of red
I woke up now I can't see the light
Please listen when I say
He's dangerous and gray
He'll eat your heart when you sane
His eyes will trick you dear
He'll say he loves it here
Then leave to hunt his prey
There's a monster underneath my bed
He's laughing at my heart of red
I woke up now I can't see the light
Please don't let him in

This song is basically an entire metaphor, comparing a person who is incapable of others feelings to a monster in diguise. On the outside they seem to be the opposite of what the actually are on the inside.
