Do not trust me now,

I've had too much to gain.

Wise are you for holding back,

Your precious thoughts,

Like drops of rain.

Love always trusts

So love is not your game.

Fighter, I told you,

I dodged a bullet.

But you said I'm the one to blame.

But it's my gun, I aim it where I want.

And I keep making shots,

Like the bullets are whiskey,

And the target is to forget.

Do not forget your arrows of honesty,

Piercing right through me.

Finally, I can be,

The one cause for negativity.

Tension is radioactive.

It travels through the air,

We absorb it through our skin,

And it changes the colors

That we wear.

Do not love me now,

I have so much to lose.

Wise are you for refraining

From saying

Lies.

Break me like a window,

Come right in.

Steal all my precious thoughts,

Ugly as sin.

With aching hands,

Take all you can.

But leave one thing for me.

Leave something precious,

Something dear to you,

To become dear to me.

Leave your only weapon on the table,

Your mask.

Break your oath of silence

And see me standing there,

In the center of the room,

Foolish and wise

At the same time.

Something real.

Do not trust me.

Not now,

When I am so 'fragile'

And small like a child.

Just let it eat you up inside,

The thoughts you try to hide.

Let them consume you,

And wrap their hands around your beating heart,

And stop it.

Do not trust me.
