Pain of Rain
pud-dles form, under my feet,
clouds above, fol-lowing me,
my vision becomes blurry,
my hands become cold,
looking for something more than an endless road,
(Chorus)
“Pain… of Rain,
shadows and flames,
cares, despair, mixing in air,
Pain… of Rain
Pain… of Rain
wash away all the days,
Pain… of Rain
above my brain
circling around the drain,”
flo-oded roads, water covering streets,
there is no shelter,
there is no warmth,
as the sun is hidden from earth,
standing alone,
wet and cold,
as I walk down the road,
rain hitting is all that's heard,
(Chorus)
“Pain… of Rain,
shadows and flames,
cares, despair, mixing in air,
Pain… of Rain
Pain… of Rain
wash away all the days,
Pain… of Rain
give me fame
have I gone insane,”
a dro-wning world, as water rises,
above the trees,
above the tallest buildings,
standing on floating wood,
drifting with the wind I could,
as the land is soaked and lost,
(Chorus)
“Pain… of Rain,
shadows and flames,
cares, despair, mixing in air,
Pain… of Rain
Pain… of Rain
wash away all the days,
Pain… of Rain
am I to blame
for these flooding days,”
