Death
Fast or slow, it leaves us miserable.
For it knows no constant pattern.
In the middle of night or day.
It has always left us miserable.
It’s absolutely breathtaking.
Your heart quits, mid beat.
Your blood stops flowing throughout.
It never leaves without taking.
Some cast it upon themselves,
others it’s a matter of fate.
Some it’s by the hands of another,
or are too helpless to save themselves.
The day we meet it, is the day we die.
Nobody has ever lived to tell,
of the pain and misery.
For the day we meet, i shall die.
