Still
You're going to regret this, you victim.
You're making me nervous, watch out.
I have a lot of promise in my hands,
But I just can't seem to make ends
Meet with the earth.
It feels like a Saturday.
The kids, they go out and play.
They're making me nervous, their diction.
Pretend they are surfers in the ocean.
It's sad we have energy,
And half of it is wasted on you.
If we think about life forms and memory,
Lifeless are you, lifeless are you.
It feels like I'm cornered.
The screeches go by, alright.
With the planets. The planets, they're moving.
But somehow in time, you make them stay still.
You groove them into pills.
Shove them down my thrills.
Make me wanna stay still.
Rambunctiously nervous.
I wanna stay still.
I wanna stand tall.
I want to be the one that makes you feel bad.
The lousiest person that I've ever had
Don't care if it's Tuesday, don't wanna go out.
Got blood on my fingers, too sharp to go now.
Hear it all once,
Drowning in your fears.
Play time with drugs,
Makes me feel so weird.
It's so existential, the noises go on.
They're molded in a metal on my guitar.
Make me stay still.
I'm feeling so nervous.
