Does everyone know what Christmas is about?
It’s not about Santa, gifts, and joyful shouts
Long ago their was a glorious sight
A historical moment happened on this night
Has society forgotten what Christmas means
Just looking around, it’s forgotten as it seems
It’s time to tell what happened long ago
Back before there was a Christmas with snow
It all happened in a town, Bethlehem is its name
The destination where dozens of travelers came
Above the village, a star shined tremendously bright
It helped people to get their by following the light
What was the occasion? There was a birth
Someone very special arrived to earth
Many came to see him, traveling so far
Getting there by following the gleaming star
Angels descended, and glided to the fields
And told shepherds to see what Bethlehem yields
At the town, people gathered to see the newborn baby
To those who traveled so far, it was a sight worth to see
Due to no chambers, a manger was it’s bed
As the announcement of his birth quickly spread
Among the people in the crowd were three wise men
Who traveled to see him in the animal's den
They brought nice gifts to the infant child
As it stirred and awoke with a big smile
What’s so special about an infant in a manger
Because when he’ll grow up, he will rid the world of danger
He’ll take our sins away with the utmost price
Who is this baby? His name is Jesus Christ
Now you know what had happened on Christmas day
This reason is why Christmas is here to stay
Without this, everything about Christmas will be lost
No love, joy, family and friends, Santa and Jack Frost
Nothing will be unique on the 25th of December
So this event is that special and has to be remembered
Everything about Christmas is caused by this
All the fun, joy, and family, nothing is missed
