Miss Mary Mack

All dressed in black

With silver buttons

Down her back

Asked her mother

For fifty cents

To see them elephants

Jump the fence

Poor girl
Just repeating history

Poor girl
Like her daddy she will be

Bought a bottle at the drug store
Bought another, now she wants more

Miss Mary Mack
Just like her dad
Drink up a six pack
To forget that she's so sad

Miss Mary mack
All dressed in black
Poor little thirsty girl
She's never going back

They jumped so high

They touched the sky

And didn't come down

'Til Fourth of July

Poor girl
Stayed up all night to three

Poor girl
Drinking up, like her dead daddy

Bought a case at the drug store
Bought another, still she wants more

Miss Mary Mack
Just like her dad
Drink up a whiskey bottle
To forget that she's so sad

Miss Mary mack
All dressed in black
Poor little thirsty girl
There ain't no going back

And when they did

They crushed that kid

Look what you did

Look what she did

Miss Mary Mack
Just like her dad
Drink up a six pack
To forget that she's so sad

Miss Mary mack
All dressed in black
Poor little thirsty girl
She's never going back

Miss Mary Mack

All dressed in black

With silver buttons

All down her back

Asked her mother

For fifty cents

Drank a little too much

Now she's spent

Poor boy
Repeating history

Poor boy
Like his mama he will be

The author's comments:

These are some song lyrics. It is mostly inspired by Melanie Martinez's childish motif. It's somewhat depressing, with the main story being a girl who's father has died and has resorted to alcoholism just like he did.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy them.
