Reminiscing in remnants of your kiss
that once lingered on my radiant lips,
Grip so tight on my waist
as if you let go I’d be gone forever,
Terror shakes my body like a violent storm
Tears that flow down my cheeks
like the rain that pours from the sky.

Like a sponge I soak up your words of hurt and hatred,
The frame of my body slung around someone else's,

Funny how last week we were tangled in the same kind of love,
Sharing the same kind of passion,
In the same kind of heat for each other.

Those closed eyes of yours
already telling me the future
My world flooded with promises,
Goddesses sing brilliant music when you by my side,
Lied to myself that I could carry on
without you in my life and my thoughts

Thoughts of you,
Thoughts of me,
Thoughts of us

You cloud my everyday judgement
And turn my words around on me with no mercy
You mean the world to me,
and I hate that
Or at least I'd like to think you used to
But we both know that's a lie
You consume my every thought.

Love is an amazing thing and the changes that you go through the cycle of a relationship changes you as a person. The way you feel around someone you love is like no other and I love that.
