You're Still Here
For all of the tears that you've made me shed
I would only bow or lower my head
You made me think hallow and dark
Sometimes I wish I could just restart
You see, my love for you was more infinite than the ocean
I have dirt on you, so that's one notion
But doing that would made me shady.
What have I ever done to have you play me?
Every night as the sky kissed the sun goodbye,
I would plop on my bed and lie.
I would check my phone to see if you texted me,
The thought of you would not let me be.
For every broken heart, they say is a needle and thread
But through everything you remain in my head.
Although those nights ended in tears,
But in my mind, you always stayed here.
