Truly Me
Every outfit I wear
Every gesture I make
Every word that I say
Every step that I take..
Are these things truly me?
Do I portray who I am?
Or am I giving in to society's
"Be Yourself" scam?
What others think shouldn't matter
I should be me to the bone
Yet it does, and I know
I can't do this alone.
