Oh, what a beautiful thing
To be able to rise
As though with a wing
Above all of the despise
To find peace
Within our souls.
It’s a way to release
All the black holes
That will burn
Unless we are willing to learn.
Not just any fool
Can let go of the ghouls
That come from inside-
The ones we stride to ignore
...Or perhaps we call for.

This is inspired by my awesome friend who I sometimes have too high of expectations for. It's hard to forgive the people you never thought would let you down, but it's important to do it anyway.
