A Lost Lover
Oh how will I ever get over You?
A lost lover that makes me feel so blue.
And now I feel missing like only just
a long-gone memory of loneliness.
My dreams and thoughts are filled with Your return.
Now I feel the pain deep down, love will burn.
I will never taste the fruits Your love bares.
How could You just walk away? You’re their’s.
Was everything said a lie? Was it real?
My heart aches, You’re gone, oh how will I heal?
It's been so long, were you really here?
Some people talk, You’re all I ever hear.
I feel I will forever be waiting.
You don’t want my love now, how frustrating.

I wrote this poem about a lost love and the feelings after they have parted ways. I wrote this from my point of view but I was inspired mostly by my friend and her lost love.
