The Old Kingdom
The old and ancient kingdom filled with dead,
Many go to explore it, none ever show.
The dark crumbling towers fill me with dread,
Many who go there lay dead in the snow.
The gloomy streets make anyone fearful,
Are they true cowards, or are they just smart?
Those who escape surely get an earful,
It’s about time we should make our depart.
They lurk in the shadows stay on your feet
Be ready to run, be ready to hide
Be sure not to fall on the old dark street
I glance behind me, where’s the friendly guide?
Running as fast as my legs carry me,
I'll never go back, that's a guarantee.
