I Wish MAG
I wish I could just lie in a field of flowers
Lay awake watching the beautiful blue skies
I wish I could be still for just a few hours
In a garden so stunning you won’t believe your eyes
If only I lay in a bed of flowers;
Watch as the sun sets in a mixture of blue and gold
If I could only spend the day there and waste away the hours
To lay there and rest until the air turns cold
I would give anything to lay amongst the flowers
To lay in wait until my problems unfold
I’d give anything to forget my troubles for a few hours
Being encompassed by nature- what a sight to behold.
If it ever occurred, the chance to lay among the flowers
I would seize it and be still; as minutes turned to hours
