Gloomy Sunday
Drops of rain
Trickle down the glass
As I wait
For the hours to pass
"End the pain,"
They seem to ask
To see the Gate:
My final task
A gloomy Sunday,
As always, it seems
It'll all be over Someday,
I dream
I wonder what the raindrops would look like red?
I wonder if they would care if I were dead?

Inspired somewhat by what has been called the "Hungarian Suicide Song," or "Gloomy Sunday,"
this brief work is about a man suffering from delusions, and suicidal thoughts as he daydreams about his end.
