Twist to twilight
I seek to cast the light, shall I to thee?
Look up to clouds that swim in skies so high.
Dive deep where rivers meet the endless sea,
And mountain paths to link with heaven's eye.
With friends, in numbers five or three, we stride
Through night, where birds in silence sing their part,
As leaves in Autumn's hue from green to hide,
In cold, the air that chills the nose and heart.
We tread along, our steps in rhythm, slow,
Till rest invites; on mossy rocks we lean,
And morning's sun begins its gentle glow,
I seek to cast the light, shall I to thee?
In fog, I wish to turn to twilight's grace,
Await the dawn with friends in this serene place.
