Sonnet I
To Love is to fear what is yet to be
To always be scared of what they might do
That someday they might just stop loving you
That without you they would feel much more free
To love is to fear what love cannot see
To always be scared what love never knew
That secretly they never wanted to -
That soon you will have to pay the worst fee
Do not give in to fear, give love a chance
Even if you run, the feelings still lurk
So don’t ever give up, let your heart dance
The reward of love is the greatest perk:
A lifetime of sweet and tender romance
In exchange for only a little work
