When Life is Hard
When life is hard and everything feels wrong,
I wish for things I do not have with me,
But then I see the good where I belong,
In little joys, in moments that are free.
For when I count the blessings I possess,
I find that riches come in forms unseen,
In love and laughter, not in gold's excess,
In simple pleasures, in each small routine.
Though troubles come and shadows block the light,
I hold onto the hope that shines so bright,
In every trial, I'll put up a fight,
With faith and courage, I'll make things right.
So let me not desire what others own,
For true wealth lies in love, and love alone.
