The melody unwinds,a warm and soft cascade,

painting this room in comfort, unafraid. This ideal quiet,this perfect,hazy light, is just a stage set for a lonely night. i feel the moment, fragile and complete, a bittersweet perfection I can't meet. for all these feelings, beautiful and new, are hollow whispers when i cant share them with you.

the fire glows, a beacon in the glass, illuminating moments that will pass. and i would trade this solace and deep,

to have your shadow fall while I'm asleep.
