Looking at myself
So I saw myself in context
and I'm thinking that I'm dull
and I'm looking for a side of me
that no one else could know
And I'm thinking of the hours
that I spent all by myself
and I'm wondering if all
that lonely time's bad for my health
And I'm fading out of sight
of the eyes of those who care
and as far as my old friends concerned
I was never there
There's no doubt I am grey
I'm a food that's missing spice
I'm not a thrilling story
but I guess that's just the price
