Too Far
I’m standing on the edge,
you’ve pushed me for the last time.
Standing there muttering your pledge,
it’s time I make you pay for your crime.
One more word and I will lash out,
one more fist and I will go off.
But this you do not doubt,
yet you continue to scoff.
Have you no heart?
Have you no brain?
If you do you are not too smart.
Do you want to be the first that is slain?
You’ve pushed me just too far,
and soon you will bear plenty a scar.
