The Fear of the Unknown
We fear what we do not understand.
Is that why I am shunned?
Is it because they fear to let their mind expand?
With their eyes I am gunned.
People fear the dark because they cannot see,
but yet here I stand, plain as day.
Still feared, but yet I am free.
They stand there staring, soon their sight will decay.
Strange I am, so I am feared,
alone I stand, awaiting their reaction.
Proud to be weird,
for me no one has an attraction.
My lesson to you, be yourself whether people like it or not,
because one day you’ll be able to show your love what you’ve got.
