Sonnet
Though love the word so perfect may appear
to cause a judgement on our happy lives
In truth the triumph only does come near
as through test and trial a person he strives
Must not the worker wipe his toiling brow
and to the dusty ground he falls and trips
Through the sun baked air he drags his plow
but when finished the cooling cup he sips
As with the ship who braves the ocean sea
she battles the waves in a forceful storm
She strives and fights to do her great duty
and at the end she is moored safe and warm
Now learn this lesson of your own accord:
to toil is to earn and love is your reward
