wrap them, goulab
Wrap them, Goulab
His emotions flamed xanthous with ire,
Having been bitten thrice with these fangs of shabbiness.
Twelve summers past; his emotions still wailed like wild fire.
Revenge had spoken a parable to his mind,
And the rightful conqueror Forgiveness
He had slammed on the back, and left behind.
So amongst inflamed emotions intruded thoughts that murmured “fight back” –
And this, he could not bear: he had to act.
So great was a day that he lived to see,
When he met a poet in his poetic world,
“Your case,” the poet pleaded,” and Goulab proceeded,
Putting emotions to thoughts, thoughts to sound and sound to words;
A catalyst-moment it was for him, for he heeded advice and became a forgiver –
By wrapping his emotions and thoughts in a piece of paper.
